This is the best place to stay in Gdansk! Comfy rooms, nice fresh breakfast, great location and very nice staff. All of it in a reasonable price. It was my second time in this hostel and I'm sure not the last!

Clean hostelroom close to the city center

Breakfast was good, very delicious scrambled eggs but not real coffee Location is very central.

It was noisy during the night and the room was small.

Fantastic location, helpful and friendly staff

The staff were all very friendly and had lots of recommendations of what to see and where to eat. The location is fantastic, just a few minutes walk to the main street and lots of restaurants close by.

Not the fault of the hostel, but the street outside is noisy at night with people hanging out and blaring music from their cars. The window did a pretty good job of shutting out the noise but bring earplugs.

Good central location, friendly staff. Provided maps and brochure of city. Fine room and comfortable for the stay.

Not dependent on the hotel, but next door there is a bar and so it can be a bit loud in the late evening.

A very good place to stay in the center of Gdansk

The location of the hotel was perfect: in Targ Drzewny close to the wonderful Amber Museum in the Big Watermill and to the church of St Bridget (Sw. Brygidy) with an amazing amber alter and many other important monuments. Also close to such beautiful streets as Sw. Ducha, Mariacka and Dluga, where you can visit the Main City Hall with a very impressive tower and a few other buildings. The National Museum and the Museum of WWII are a bit father away but still within walking distance. Both are definitely worth visiting. It is very easy to get to the hotel from the airport: take bus 210 to Gdansk Glowny (the central railway station in Gdansk) and then walk to the hotel past the churches of St Elizabeth (Sw. Elzbiety) and St Joseph (Sw. Jozefa). You can also take a fast intercity train from Gdansk Glowny to Malbork to visit the magnificent castle of the Teutonic Order there. In the vicinity of the hotel, there are quite a few cafes, bars, restaurants and supermarkets (Aldi and Biedronka in Rajska street). The host does not stay in the hotel at night, but he had waited for us and checked us in quite late (around 2200) at no extra cost. He was very polite and helpful and he let us leave our bags in a locked room for a day after we had checked out. As a parting present, he gave us boxes of Gdansk sweets! The breakfast was plentiful. The en suite room, quite comfortable. The shower powerful and hot!

Some real coffee for breakfast instead of Nescafe would have been great! Also, there was a bit of ambiguity about using the kitchen/breakfast room. While the host did not mind our borrowing glasses and a plate from the kitchen cupboard, it would have been great if he had made it explicit that guests were welcome to use the kitchenware.

Wonderful

Locatoin is great, close to old town,close to public transport and train station, Very friendly staff, nice clean rooms, nice breakfast, and lady making it is very nice person, nothing too much for her to do, all excellent. Tea, coffee and kettle available.

Ironing board had no cover and is so small, so its dificult to use it

Great location! Must try bar next door- real polish atmosphere :)

We arrived at 23 and couldn't find hostel. No phone nr on door, but we had phone nr only in confermation letter.
